Compensation: $30 per hour, 401(k) benefit.

Hours: 16 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm.

Location: Belmont Correctional Institution, St. Clairsville, OH.

Mid America Health (MAH) is seeking an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant to join our Ohio team. This position offers a low‑stress alternative to private practice dentistry, a rewarding opportunity to provide care to an underserved population, and an excellent work/life balance.

• Routine chairside duties including preventive, restorative, extraction, and prosthodontic care.
• Placement and finishing of permanent dental fillings.
• Application of fluoride varnishes and desensitizing agents.
• Provision of oral hygiene instructions.
• Administrative duties (training provided).
• No orthodontics or crown & bridge; very limited endodontics required.

• At least 1 year experience and a certificate from an accredited dental assisting program preferred.
• Current CPR certification for healthcare providers.
• Active Ohio Dental Radiographer license – required.
• Active Ohio Expanded Functions Dental Auxiliary license – required.
