Mid America Health (MAH) is seeking an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant to join our Ohio team. This EFDA position will work part- time,
16 hours per week
, Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. This position is located at the Belmont Correctional Institution in St. Clairsville, OH
. This position is a rewarding, low stress alternative to private practice dentistry and offers competitive compensation of $30 per hour and 401k. NO late nights or weekends!! There is a $400 sign-on bonus for this position.

Routine chairside duties include preventive, restorative, extraction, and prosthodontic care. This position will also include placement and finishing of permanent dental fillings, application of fluoride varnishes and desensitizing agents, and provision of oral hygiene instructions. No ortho or crown & bridge with very limited endo required. Administrative duties are also required, and you will be trained in this area.

• 1 year experience and certificate from an accredited dental assisting program preferred
• Current CPR for Healthcare Providers
• Active Ohio Dental Radiographer License REQUIRED
• Active Ohio Expanded Functions Dental Auxiliary license are REQUIRED
