Product Demonstrator Part Time – 6556 (Req ) – Join Product Connections to apply for this part‑time in‑store product demonstration role. The position is available in St. Clairsville, OH with remote options.
OverviewThe Associate is responsible for completing in‑store food and non‑food demonstrations. The role involves preparing, serving, and breaking down product, equipment, and supplies; engaging consumers in a professional manner; and maintaining a clean, safe work station and a professional appearance.
Responsibilities- Proactively intercept, engage, and sell product to consumers in a positive manner.
- Effectively communicate product features and benefits.
- Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances (microwave, fryer, skillet, coffee maker, knives).
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals.
- Accurately prepare and submit all online event requirements on execution day.
- Assist with client visit preparation and audit corrections.
- Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives.
- Complete expense reports per company policy.
- Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
- Access the internet and navigate company electronic systems, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Adobe PDF.
- High school diploma or GED; one to three months related experience or training preferred.
- Proficient in personal computer or mobile device applications and internal systems.
- Local food handler permit may be required.
- Physical demands: stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle or feel, reach overhead up to 65 inches, talk, hear, visual read instructions, stoop, kneel, squat, climb or step ladder, balance, lift and carry up to 25 lbs (occasionally 50 lbs), push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart, prepare foods using required appliances, and contact cleaning supplies.
- Ability to present a professional appearance and proper grooming.
- English required; bilingual skills may be requested.
