Civil Project Manager

Terry Roberts Site Work is searching for a Project Manager to join our 25+ year history of successful civil/site work. The ideal candidate will be responsible for project direction, planning, completion, and financial outcome. In order to succeed in this position, the candidate must be organized and have excellent time management skills. Candidate will be responsible to manage several projects under the direction of the Senior Project Manager.

This position is a full-time position working M-F in our office in St. Cloud, Fl.

• Coordinates with vendors and employees for assigned projects
• Perform project management tasks including cost analysis, draft change orders, subcontractor/vendor buydowns, and project scheduling
• Draft project estimates, quantity takeoffs, and current project schedules
• Collaborates with other employees for material orders, equipment relocation, and other project logistics
• Prepares reports for senior project manager regarding status of projects
• Provides document management and cost tracking functions for projects
• Adhere to all company, OSHA, and MSHA rules and regulations at all times
• Meet or exceed company safety standards
• Perform other job responsibilities as assigned by management

• 2 to 5 years experience in civil construction including earthwork, drainage, utilities, and paving
• Ability to understand and interpret civil engineering design drawings
• Knowledge of advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office, Bluebeam/Planswift, and Microsoft Projects
• Ability to work independently, and to manage multiple projects
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate engineering information clearly and concisely
• Able to analyze information and drive initiatives
