The Parts and Equipment Coordinator Level 2 will support the tractor/trailer maintenance and repair function by servicing the parts, equipment, and supply needs of drivers and mechanics/technicians. They will assist with the maintenance of proper parts, equipment, and supply inventories, and maintaining work order records, along with receiving/billing and ensuring accurate storage of parts, tools, material, and equipment.
Education and Experience – Level 2- High School diploma and 1–2 years experience with inventory control, parts, and/or equipment management.

- Must be a team player, amenable to a variety of work projects.
- Must be analytical with the ability to apply data.
- Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Must be proficient in responding to internal and external customer situations.

- Forklift certification or become certified within 90 days of employment.
- Available to work occasional overtime, Saturdays, and other shift vacancies as needed.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) required.
- Excellent communication skills (written, listening, verbal).
- Willing and able to travel infrequently, including overnight travel.
- Service parts, equipment, and supply needs of drivers, mechanics, and technicians.
- Look up parts on OEM websites.
- Receive, label, put away, issue, run, and ship parts, equipment (and kits), and supplies to support the maintenance department.
- Initiate, process, and complete Mecs, Y‑Splits, Purchase orders, and work orders with assistance.
- Monitor inventory levels, updating part numbers, performing cycle counts, addressing aging inventory, and notifying parts purchasers of out‑of‑stock, over‑stock, and/or obsolete items.
- Assist with the maintenance, inspection, and reconditioning of e‑log devices, parts, equipment, and supply inventories.
- Clean equipment out of trucks as needed.
- Research, order, and communicate the availability of out‑of‑stock and non‑stock parts with shop leadership.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working space and department.
- Ensure safety procedures are implemented and followed.
- Plan and schedule warehousing items as needed.
- Support ATS’ culture by aligning actions, behaviors, performance, and decisions in accordance with the Company’s values.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
The Parts and Equipment Coordinator Level 1 will assist the Inventory Control Manager in the daily aspect of supporting the tractor/trailer maintenance and repair function. They will service and maintain the parts, equipment, and supply needs of drivers and mechanics/technicians, inventories, and maintain work order records. They will process receiving/billing and ensure accurate storage of parts, tools, materials, and equipment. They will assist in creating and maintaining proper SOPs and processes, training new employees, providing day‑to‑day direction to the team, and assisting the manager with developing goals and monitoring performance.
Education and Experience – Level 1- Solid understanding of parts, equipment, and inventory control gained through 2–5+ years of vocational training and/or related experience.
- Team lead or supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience with inventory systems.
