Sanitation Team Lead

In this hands‑on leadership role, you will help maintain the highest standards of food safety, sanitation, and operational excellence while developing and supporting a team dedicated to success.

As the Sanitation Team Lead you will provide daily leadership and direction to an assigned team of sanitation employees. You will coordinate sanitation activities, manage workflow and staffing, support employee training and development, and ensure sanitation, food safety, safety, quality, and production‑readiness expectations are consistently achieved.

• Lead daily sanitation activities according to established procedures, production needs, and food safety standards.
• Assign work, adjust staffing and workflow, and help ensure production areas are ready on schedule.
• Oversee equipment teardown, cleaning, sanitizing, reassembly, and area restoration.
• Conduct or oversee pre‑operational inspections and testing before equipment and production areas are released for use.
• Monitor sanitation progress, address operational challenges, and provide hands‑on support when needed.
• Ensure sanitation, food safety, chemical safety, allergen control, workplace safety, and production procedures are followed.
• Partner with Maintenance, Production, Quality, Food Safety, and other teams to support operational success.
• Lead, train, coach, and develop employees while fostering a positive, respectful, and accountable team culture.
• Identify opportunities to improve sanitation effectiveness, efficiency, safety, and overall processes.
