Customer Experience Associate – St. Cloud, MN

Brief Description

In this role, you will be responsible for responding to customer inquiries, processing orders, and supporting customer-facing processes with accuracy and professionalism. Working under guidance and supervision, the associate develops knowledge of company systems, policies, and procedures while contributing to a positive customer experience that fosters trust and loyalty.

What

You’ll Do
  • Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email, providing timely and professional assistance.
  • Accurately process orders received through multiple platforms (email, website, ERP, EDI, and Workist), while maintaining complete and up-to-date customer records.
  • Support order management by reviewing customer purchase orders and product availability, creating invoices, and coordinating with Accounts Receivable on billing inquiries and issuing credits.
  • Assist in documenting and routing of customer inquiries and complaints, identifying appropriate resolutions and escalating complex issues to senior team members or leadership when needed.
  • With supervision, CX Associate 1 may handle specialized services such as customer order processing and billing.
  • Partner with colleagues across internal teams —including Technical Support, Finance, IT, and Operations—to deliver a seamless customer experience, ensuring timely handling of customer requests and follow ups.
  • Contribute to compliance processes such as export license approvals and participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) for new IT tools or system enhancements.
  • Maintain awareness of current company policies, procedures, and best practices, ensuring all correspondence reflects the organization’s customer-first focus.
  • Consistently demonstrate dependability, professionalism, and accuracy in day-to-day responsibilities, while actively developing skills to deliver customer experience excellence.
  • Collaborate with team members and leadership to achieve department goals and continuously improve the customer experience.
What We’re Looking For
  • Associates or bachelor’s degree in sales, business management or related degree preferred.
  • One to three years of previous related Customer Service experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with ERP, CRM, or order entry systems (e.g. Net Suite, Salesforce) preferred.
  • The ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
