The College of St. Scholastica seeks qualified adjunct faculty to support undergraduate nursing students in clinical, lab, and/or classroom-based learning environments. Adjuncts may express interest in teaching at either the Duluth or St. Cloud campus.

- $1,020 per credit for undergraduate courses
- $1,112 per credit for undergraduate courses after 40 credits are taught within a five-year period (Any future updates to per-credit rates will be reflected within the electronic contract.)
- Instruct undergraduate nursing students in clinical rotations at partnering healthcare facilities.
- Collaborate and communicate with course faculty and clinical partners to ensure learning objectives are met.
- Provide guidance and support to students, fostering a safe and effective clinical learning environment.
- Follow professional standards and best practices.
- Participate in course-specific orientation.
- Teach and support undergraduate nursing students in the nursing lab environment.
- Demonstrate, supervise, and evaluate student performance in lab and simulation settings.
- Ensure alignment with course objectives and program outcomes.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and inclusive lab learning environment.
- Participate in course-specific orientation.
- Instruct undergraduate nursing students in didactic courses.
- Ensure course objectives and undergraduate program outcomes are met.
- Evaluate student learning outcomes and provide timely feedback.
- Participate in course-specific orientation.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) for clinical and lab instruction
- Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) required for all classroom instruction
- Current Minnesota RN license
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse community of students, faculty, and staff
- Ability to complete orientation and training within the first month of hire
- Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) completed or in progress
- Prior teaching experience (lab, simulation, or clinical instruction)
- Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP)
