Becker School District is conveniently located off of US Hwy 10, just 20 minutes SE from St. Cloud and 45 minutes NW from the Twin Cities. The District consists of five buildings, all situated on a single, cohesive campus and serves approximately 2,800 students – Early Education Building, Primary School (K-2), Intermediate School (3-5), Middle School (6-8), and High School (9-12).

Becker Primary School is currently seeking a dynamic and positive Second Grade teacher to join our team as a Long Term Substitute Teacher. We are looking for applicants who are passionate about fostering a learning environment where all students can thrive. As a Second Grade Teacher, we encourage a focus on motivating students to achieve their maximum potential.

• Develop engaging lesson plans and instructional materials.
• Translate lesson plans into meaningful learning experiences, integrating subject area content and technology.
• Instruct students in specified subject matter, adapting teaching materials and methods to meet the needs of diverse learners. Assess, identify, and evaluate the needs of students, providing instruction in individual or group sessions while maintaining standards of behavior.
• Evaluate student progress, maintain accurate records and prepare progress reports.
• Communicate effectively with students, families through conferences and other means.

• Minnesota Elementary Teaching Licensure
• Familiarity with school and district rules, regulations, and procedures.
• Strong judgment and decision-making skills.

• Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with staff, students, and families.
