The Opportunity

Strong digital products help educators bring high-quality curriculum to life. Lavinia Group, a division of K12 Coalition, is seeking a Director, Digital Products to lead the planning, development, and continuous improvement of digital tools that support its Red Thread literacy and mathematics curriculum. This leader will own the day-to-day product direction and delivery of Red Thread’s digital platforms and related initiatives, including its AI-enabled student work feedback application and digital partnerships.

Working closely with curriculum leaders, the Technology team, and external development partners, the Director will translate instructional priorities and educator needs into connected, practical digital experiences that support planning, instruction, assessment, and student learning. The Director, Digital Products reports to the Senior Director, Curriculum Production and Development and partners closely with the Senior Director, Curriculum Strategy and Growth responsible for digital curriculum to align product development with Red Thread’s broader instructional and strategic priorities.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the planning, development, launch, and ongoing improvement of Red Thread’s literacy and mathematics digital platforms, AI-enabled student work feedback application, and future digital tools.
• Build and manage digital product roadmaps in partnership with curriculum and product leadership, translating strategic priorities into clear requirements, development plans, timelines, and deliverables.
• Own end-to-end product delivery, coordinating design, development, testing, release readiness, and ongoing iteration with internal teams and external partners.
• Prioritize features and improvements based on instructional value, educator needs, product feedback, technical feasibility, and available resources.
