What You’ll Do

As a Project Engineer, Software, you’ll coordinate and oversee software engineering efforts across the full project lifecycle, ensuring deliverables meet requirements, timelines, and budgets. You’ll:

  • Lead Project Deliverables: Contribute to and communicate project specifications that align with product requirements within the New Product Development (NPD) process.
  • Architect Software Systems: Design software solutions from initial conceptualization through commissioning, ensuring reliability and scalability.
  • Mentor and Guide Teams: Direct and mentor less experienced engineers, fostering collaboration and knowledge‑sharing within the discipline.
  • Collaborate Across Functions: Support Manufacturing, Sales, Service, Installation, and Training teams with technical expertise and documentation needs.
  • Drive Product Development: Actively participate in all stages of NPD, including conceptualization, design, verification/validation, and delivery to the product team.
  • Ensure Quality and Documentation: Communicate service documentation needs (schematics, CAD drawings, flow charts) to design teams and apply quality control measures throughout projects.
  • Provide Backup Support: Assist the Sustaining Engineering team and other NPD engineers when needed.

As a Project Engineer, Software at Park Industries, you’ll primarily work standard business hours Monday to Friday, with availability for extended hours when project needs require.

Experience and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Computer, or Software Engineering (required), Master’s Degree in Electrical, Computer, or Software Engineering (preferred)
  • 15+ years of engineering experience (required)
  • Experience with CNCs and PLCs (required)
  • Proficiency with project management software (Project, Dev Ops, Monday, etc.) (required)

Pay Transparency Statement

In accordance with pay transparency regulations, the anticipated starting salaried rate for this position ranges from $95,000.00 to $. Please note that the salaried range provided is an estimate and not a guarantee; the final offer will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, location, and assigned shift. Full‑time employees may also be eligible for variable compensation, company‑wide incentives, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Additionally, the availability of benefits and programs may vary depending on the hire date, employment type, and hours worked.
