$69,850 - $90,362 per year (based on full‑time).

• Registered Occupational Therapist (OTR) license through the MN Department of Health (required).
• Preferred:
  Previous related experience.

The OTR assesses students with physical, neurological, sensory, and perceptual impairments to determine functional skills within educational placements. The OTR develops, implements, and monitors therapeutic programs, and provides consultation to school staff and parents to maximize student skills. The OTR coordinates related allied health services for district students and offers in‑service training to parents, teachers, and community agencies.

• Screen and evaluate students with physical, neurological, and sensory impairments.
• Conduct appropriate evaluations of children referred for possible educational needs and prepare written reports.
• Participate in IEP team meetings and assist in developing IEPs for children with educational needs.
• Collaborate with staff and family to review plans and programs.
• Provide indirect and direct occupational therapy to children with needs that affect learning.
• Implement intervention programs to facilitate optimum functioning and enhance learning in the school setting.
• Participate in regional, cooperative, and district OT professional activities and delivery systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Typical school environment (inside, temperature‑controlled). Services also provided in homes and daycare settings. Requires stamina for long hours, early mornings, and evenings. May require lifting up to 100 lbs and physical endurance. Business travel is required. Frequent walking, standing, sitting, hearing, talking, and seeing.
