- At least 1 year recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
- Valid ARRT or RCIS/RCES certification in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- ACLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Valid radiologic technologist license within state regulations
- PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certification
- Other certifications or licenses as required
- Prepare and position patients for procedures ensuring comfort and safety
- Operate imaging equipment (fluoroscopy, CT, ultrasound) to guide procedures
- Assist physicians as a scrub tech, maintain sterile field, pass instruments
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and procedural details
- Administer contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions
- Implement radiation safety measures for patients, staff, and self
- Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment and procedural supplies
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and team members for patient care
- Follow infection control, safety, and regulatory protocols
- Educate patients before, during, and after procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned to support IR lab operations
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and strong interpersonal communication
- Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions; PC skills
- Physical ability to remain stationary, move equipment 50–100 lbs, push, pull, bend
- Work effectively with diverse personnel; maintain positive attitude
- Fine‑motor skills for manipulating equipment during procedures
- Ability to handle high‑pressure, irregular activity schedules
- Visual acuity and effective communication
