American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 1+ years of experience and ARRT (CT) certification for a day-shift hospital assignment.

• Hospital-based CT department performing abdomen, pelvis, chest, and head/neck CT imaging with and without contrast
• Special procedures may include aspirations, biopsies, brain perfusion, CT colonography, CT arthrography, drainage, myelography, and vascular CTA
• Also performs spine and musculoskeletal imaging including cervical, thoracic, lumbar, and musculoskeletal trauma studies
• Works in adult acute care, adult outpatient, Emergency Department, and Level I Trauma settings
• Uses PACS and Toshiba/Canon CT equipment
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• 4x9 hour day shifts, primarily 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday through Friday, though hours may vary
• Some weekend coverage may be needed
• No on-call requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist
• ARRT (R)(CT) and BLS certifications required
• License required if applicable
• Proficiency in starting peripheral IVs required
• Experience with preparation and/or administration of contrast media
• Teaching hospital, community hospital, and Trauma Level I experience preferred

• Perform CT imaging across a variety of body regions and specialized procedures as part of the radiology team
• Holiday coverage required as needed by the facility
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Former permanent staff must be separated from the facility for at least 9 months before returning as a traveler
• Maximum of 7 days RTO permitted, with no RTO during the first 2 weeks of the assignment
• Local candidates are not accepted; candidates must live more than 25 miles from the facility
• Required lab work must be completed within 48 hours of signing the contract
• Minnesota Livescan fingerprinting must be completed in person within the state on the Monday prior to the scheduled start date
