Anderson Trucking Service (ATS) is hiring a Business Analyst (BA) to collaborate with Business and IT leaders to identify, document, and translate business flows and requirements into actionable specifications.

Base pay: $75,000 – $110,000 per year (actual pay based on experience, education, certifications, and location).

• Work with business process owners to develop, improve, and refine requirements aligned to ATS’ organizational strategy.
• Serve as the interface between the technical resource pool and business partners.
• Facilitate process‑mapping exercises to identify current state and recommend improvements.
• Lead and participate in project requirements‑gathering activities, including user requirement documentation and establishing project cadence.
• Support the Project Manager with issue resolution and change management across projects.
• Engage in testing, document issues, and propose resolutions as needed.
• Create and maintain documentation such as policies, procedures, workflows, process maps, and user guides.
• Coordinate the organization and retention of the document repository throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist IT staff with recording existing processes and maintaining the knowledge base.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Support ETC culture by aligning actions and decisions with ATS values and competencies.
• Complete work outside of normal business hours when necessary; occasional travel may be required.

• Four‑year degree in Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum five years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in transportation.
• Experience in cross‑functional facilitation with stakeholders at all levels.
• Business process development experience with ability to elicit requirements in a relationship‑based manner.
• Strong ability to illustrate design, development, and testing processes for both business and IT audiences.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent written, listening, and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated collaboration across diverse cultures, customers, partners, and suppliers.
