Club Manager

Overview

Club Manager role at Baseline Fitness. Responsible for oversight of gym operations to ensure positive member experience and a financially successful club.

• Recruit, hire, train, schedule and supervise team members.
• Provide member service oversight to ensure a great customer service experience at all times.
• High involvement in front desk tasks: greeting members, gym tours, member service issues/questions, etc.
• Provide support for team members and club members.
• Create and maintain a positive image for the club.
• Coach and counsel performance to help achieve company standards.
• Ensure prompt opening/closing of gym and that the club is open and staffed during all hours of business.
• Ensure staff are aware of and trained on current marketing promotions.
• Finish manager portion of onboarding, in Paycom, for all new hires.
• Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures; implement and uphold standards.
• Responsible for ordering supplies and tracking inventory.
• Deliver excellent customer service and professional communication with customers, coworkers, and the public.
• Demonstrate problem solving, diplomacy, and effective communication to prevent misunderstandings and resolve situations.

• Honesty and good work ethic
• At least 1 year of equivalent managerial experience
• Strong customer service skills
• Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills
• Basic computer proficiency
