Quanex is looking for a Tooling Technician to join our team located onsite in St. Cloud, Minnesota
. In this role, you are responsible for preparing and maintaining tooling for the timely manufacture of customer products according to the customer’s specifications.

- Must be qualified to coordinate and lead the implementation of improvements within their department.
- Maintains regular 5S principles.
- Understands quality expectations and works with all team members to ensure quality procedures are being followed and standard work is being followed.
- Prepares and assembles all tooling for upcoming production runs prior to the time when they are needed, including back-up tooling when necessary.
- Maintains a working knowledge of machine operations in order to determine how a customer product should be made.
- Cooperates with and supports co-workers and gets involved as a team player.
- High School education or equivalent required.
- 3+ years of manufacturing experience, preferred.
- AutoCAD experience, preferred.
- Experience with calipers, dial indicators, protectors, squares, rulers, etc.
Salary: $25.00 - $26.00 per hour, pay based on experience.
Schedule: Monday – Friday (6:00am – 2:30pm), overtime may be required based on business needs.
