Overview
Quality Control Analyst position at Microbiologics in St. Cloud, MN. Responsible for performing core quality control testing and packaging event evaluations on Microbiologics products to ensure all items meet acceptance criteria before release.
Responsibilities- Perform quality control testing on Microbiologics’ products in accordance with applicable specifications. Products include microorganisms and molecular items. Ensure identification and traceability of material.
- Perform automated and manual testing. Troubleshoot when necessary. Report problems to the supervisor.
- Perform quality checks to ensure proper functioning of instruments, reagents and procedures.
- Operate testing equipment such as identification instrumentation, enumeration equipment, balance, applying logic and various analytical methods to determine results.
- Recognize when results are out of specification and make appropriate notifications in accordance with procedures.
- Test accurately and document results in a timely manner according to company policies and procedures.
- Maintain familiarity with Microbiologics’ product inserts, and current Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute (CLSI) and government regulations.
- Maintain documentation as it applies to a responsible Quality System and the provisions of quality assurance and laboratory service.
- Demonstrate competency in core responsibilities per the quality control training metrics.

- Four-year microbiology or related degree or equivalent work experience required.
- Practical biology laboratory experience preferred.
- The ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
