Meat Cutter (meat team) at Sam's Club. You’ll help with the quality, packaging, and display of meat items for members, contributing to a positive shopping experience through attention to detail and strong customer service.

• Be a Team Member:

  Demonstrates knowledge of floor and backroom operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and the operation, maintenance, and sanitization of equipment; prepares meat products to standards; maintains product quality.

  Uses digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; uses handheld technology to make decisions related to production, training, and product quality; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them.
• Be an Owner:
  Maintains operational excellence; ensures quality and date control for meat products; handles fragile and high-shrink merchandise; eliminates waste; assists members with purchasing decisions; ensures proper packaging, labeling, and storage per policies.
• Be a Talent Ambassador:
  Advocates for the department and club; models high-quality service and product standards; shows energy, commitment, and passion for the work.
• Complies with company policies and ethics; uses the Open Door Policy in business processes and practices.

The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $23.00. The actual rate will equal or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid under certain conditions (0.35 to 3.00 per hour).
