Position Objective

The Sales Associate supports management in promoting a customer and product-focused sales culture, ensuring a great customer experience and maximizing profitability. We are committed to being an amazing place to work, learn, and grow!

Functional Responsibilities

Drive for Results

• Meet sales goals by utilizing sales techniques and product knowledge; assist customers in locating merchandise based on their needs.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales, promotions, pricing, and visual standards.
• Handle merchandise, presentation, loss prevention, and visual directives as directed by management.

Customer Experience

• Promote MAPS principles and provide a cohesive omni-channel experience.
• Resolve customer concerns promptly.
• Ensure efficient register experience, staying current on policies.
• Encourage buying decisions, including gift card sales, and sign up clients for rewards programs.
• Build customer loyalty through clienteling and wardrobing.
• Stay informed about current product offerings online and in-store.

Operational Excellence

• Support replenishment activities to keep the store stocked.
• Assist with locate fulfillment and visual presentations.
• Help maintain store cleanliness and organization.

Teamwork and Growth

• Promote an inclusive, collaborative approach.
• Seek personal development opportunities and feedback.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Retail or sales experience preferred.
• Must be 16+ in certain states; 18+ in others.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Adaptability to technology and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable attendance and flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements

• Constant walking/standing (67-100%) of shift.
• Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent climbing (34-66%).
