Guest Advocate (Cashier), General Merchandise, Fulfillment, Food and Beverage, Style (T0930) s role offers a flexible schedule; you will pick up shifts posted by store leaders or teammates via the myTime app. You may not be included on the posted weekly schedule, and shifts vary based on business needs.

Starting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial: $16.25 USD per hour.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a service culture by delivering the service standard and creating a welcoming guest experience.
• Engage with guests to assist with their specific needs and solve issues.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services across the store to resolve guest questions and improve their experience.
• Scan and bag items efficiently and in compliance with food safety standards and company practices.
• Minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy.
• Promote and explain Target Loyalty programs and assist with enrollment as needed. Be familiar with all fulfillment services and direct guests to enroll, activate, and use them.
• Explain and demonstrate how to use Wallet and Target App features.
• Handle returns and use register prompts in collaboration with leaders to resolve guest concerns while following Target policies.
• De-escalate situations when needed and recover the guest shopping experience per policy.
• Provide easy and accurate service for Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests.
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and stock supplies during store hours.
• Adhere to safety policies, report hazards, and work safely at all times.
• Support guest services such as order pickup, Drive Up orders and returns; ensure compliance with applicable laws and store policies.
• Assist with Cash Office processes as needed.
• Perform other duties based on business needs.

Physical and Scheduling Details

• Accurately handle cash register operations and assist with cash office tasks as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 44 pounds with or without assistance; frequently lift up to 10 pounds.
• Flexible to pick up shifts (nights, weekends, holidays) to meet store needs.
• Active engagement by picking up and working shifts; must work at least one shift within 5 months or employment may be terminated.
