Position Summary:

Sam’s Club stocking in freezer, cooler, and deli areas with emphasis on operations, sanitation, and customer service. In the deli department, front-line customer service is provided to members. The role supports keeping shelves stocked and product ready for members while maintaining sanitary conditions for freezers and coolers.

• Maintains safety of facility by following safety standards, procedures, and guidelines including safety sweeps; proper forklift spotting procedures; handling and disposing of hazardous materials; reporting unsafe situations to Management.
• Maintains the sales floor and merchandise presentation in the Freezer/Cooler/Deli area by handling claims and returns; zoning the area; receiving and stocking merchandise; setting up, cleaning, and organizing product displays; removing damaged goods; pricing merchandise; completing required audits and paperwork; and securing fragile/high-shrink merchandise.
• Provides member service by acknowledging members and identifying their needs; locating merchandise and assisting with purchasing decisions; providing Deli products to Members; resolving issues and promoting Company products and services.
• Follows Company policies related to Freezer/Cooler areas by complying with food handling policies; operating and sanitizing equipment; following Cold Chain procedures when stocking; cleaning the area; and reporting issues to Management.

The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $23.00. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances, depending on schedule, facility, season, or work performed.
