Sales Account Consultant (Base Salary + Commission)
We are looking for a sales professional to serve franchisees and licensees to grow food sales and strengthen customer success. This is a full‑time salaried position with 75% travel including overnight and air travel.
Job DescriptionDrive profitability of franchise/licensee by increasing same‑store food sales; expand territory; maintain strong relationships; deliver sales presentations; analyze technology tools; prevent account attrition; guide programs and new product introductions; provide training; report sales performance; comply with policies.
Responsibilities (Essential Functions)- Drive profitability of licensee/franchisee by increasing same-store food sales.
- Canvas for new customers to expand and grow territory.
- Cultivate favorable business relationships with licensee/franchisee store personnel.
- Conduct sales presentations or demonstrations to showcase food and technology products.
- Analyze and leverage information available from technology products to grow sales.
- Prevent account attrition (store closings).
- Inform, implement, and guide OLM Food Solutions programs and new product introductions.
- Maintain knowledge of franchise/license contract and enforce compliance by licensees.
- Conduct training sessions for franchisees and staff on product knowledge, sales techniques, customer service, and food safety.
- Keep franchisees informed about new products, promotions, marketing campaigns.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify and implement sales strategies.
- Provide timely and accurate sales performance reports to Director of Operations and management.
- Attend meetings of instruction on new products, procedures, and periodic goals.
- Comply with all policies and standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 3–5 years in field operations in the food industry desired. - Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and basic math skills.
- Ability to interpret technical instructions and identify opportunities.
- Passionate, energetic, and enthusiastic with a can‑do attitude.
- Strong work ethic and customer‑focused mindset.
- Supportive, emotional intelligence, and team‑orientation.
- Physical ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs.; stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch regularly; vision and focus requirements as listed.
- Professional appearance and grooming standards maintained.
- Extreme attention to detail and accuracy; flexible to work days, nights, weekends if needed.
- Safety compliance with OSHA and company standards.
