Body Shop Lead - 2nd Shift - Health Insurance

• Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the body shop department.
• Perform high-quality body repairs, painting, and refinishing on diesel trucks and heavy equipment.
• Inspect work to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
• Train and mentor body shop technicians, ensuring skill development and adherence to best practices.
• Manage workflow to meet project deadlines and customer expectations.
• Work with the shop manager and service advisors to schedule repairs and prioritize tasks.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA and company safety policies.
• Assist with estimates for bodywork and provide recommendations for repair solutions.
• Communicate effectively with customers to ensure satisfaction with completed work.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in auto body repair, with a focus on diesel trucks or heavy equipment.
• Strong knowledge of body repair techniques, welding, and painting processes.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret repair orders, estimates, and technical manuals.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Experience with industry-standard tools and equipment, including spray guns, sanders, and welding machines.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required).
