Job Title: Class A CDL Driver Department: Warehouse

Reports To: Warehouse Manager FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Shift: 1st Shift Days Wage Range: $27.00 - $31.00 per hour

A Driver is responsible to l oad , deliver , and pickup of freight /materials and move from one location to another.

• Load, deliver, and pickup of freight.
• Plans and completes loads in an efficient manner.
• Delivers and picks up freight to/from correct addresses, obtaining signatures and proof of receipt when necessary.
• Maintains basic records of truck mileage and freight picked up/dropped off.
• Ensures that delivery vehicles receive basic service according to maintenance schedule; reports larger service needs and mechanical issues to supervisor.
• Assists in general warehouse duties when delivery route is completed.
• Follow all Nahan safety and quality standards.
• Work assigned shifts, including weekends and overtime, as required .
• Other duties as assigned by the man ager .

• Attention to detail and ability to drive safely.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and delivery/pickup order instructions.
• Ability to use navigation tools such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, and/or web-based or physical maps & plan routes. Ability to maintain basic logs and records.
• Ability to work independently and part of a team.
• Strong communication skills (written, verbal , and listening).
• Excellent time management skills and organizational skills.
• Proficiency/fluent with English language, both written and verbal.

This job operates in a Manufacturing environment. While performing the duties of this job inside the manufacturing facility, the employee is frequently exposed to normal to moderate working conditions for a manufacturing facility with a noise level that is usually moderate to loud. The role routinely uses printing equipment and machines.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee may be required to stand for long periods of time as well as use hands or fingers to reach or handle, and to reach with hands and arms. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch , or crawl.

The employee will regularly lift 70lbs or more at a time. All vision abilities are require d to encompass close-up work. Employees must be able to tolerate and endure extended seasonal hours and maintai n alertness to meet deadlines.

Occasionally while performing duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to machinery and moving parts, airborne particles including paper dust and hazardous materials or fumes, which may require the use of PPE. The employee may be exposed to adverse weather conditions, extended seasonal hours, high precarious places, and confined spaces. The nose level in some of the work environments may require the use of hearing protection.
