Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site role for a Human Resources Director, based in St George, UT. The Human Resources Director is responsible for overseeing all HR functions, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations, payroll management, developing and implementing HR policies, managing employee relations, and leading performance management initiatives. Day‑to‑day tasks include creating strategic HR plans, handling employment matters, and providing guidance to the management team to foster a productive and compliant work environment.

Qualifications
  • Expertise in Human Resources (HR) management, including talent acquisition, workforce planning, and HR operations
  • Strong knowledge in HRIS and Payroll platforms
  • Proven experience in Employee Relations and managing workplace culture and engagement
  • Familiarity with Performance Management processes and best practices
  • Comprehensive understanding of Labor and Employment Law to ensure compliance
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict‑resolution skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR are an advantage
  • Previous HR leadership experience in a construction or industrial setting is highly desirable
