Responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operation and programs of Campus View Suites 1, averaging 352 residents, the University Inn, averaging 44 residents, and Family Student Housing, averaging
21 apartments. This involves overseeing development of a community and educational environment that encourages student engagement,positive relationships, and student success. In addition totraditional residence life functions and roles, this position willhave specific responsibilities regarding student conduct and student staff development across all on campus residential communities. This position is required to live in provided on-campus housing within Campus View Suites

- Coordinate the day-to-day resident life operations and programs of Campus View Suites 1, the University Inn, and Family Student Housing apartments.
- Assist in the management and facilitation of the student conduct process by implementing and enforcing university and departmental rules and regulations, as well as adjudicating minorstudent conduct cases, across all residence halls (approximately1,600 residents) as assigned by the Assistant Director and Director.
- Plan and organize for summer camps and conferences, includingoccupancy management in coordination with campus partners, staff selection and training, cleaning checks, key preparation and management, and invoicing.
- Oversee the development of a community and educational environment that encourages student engagement, positive relationships, and student success.
- Respond to emergency situations and assist in resolvingresident and parent concerns, roommate conflict, etc.
- Plan and implement active educational, social and culturalprograms for the personal growth and development of residents.
Plan, propose, implement and assess Themed Communities, as determined by the department’s strategic plan. - Utilize Star Rez (student housing management software) when performing daily responsibilities, including updating student and building information, processing forms, and creating reports.
- Participate in on-call duty coverage, one week out of every sixweeks, to respond to on-campus student housing incidents and student crisis situations.
- Monitor and communicate concerns related to facilities,including safety and security, cleaning service, maintenance andkeys. Provide supervision and assistance during check-in/check-outperiods.
- Plan, organize, and assist in the facilitation of the centralized process for resident assistant and resident managerrecruitment, selection, placement and training.
- Supervise 9 Resident Assistants and 2 Assistant Resident Managers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis. Master’s degree preferred. - Two years’ experience working in Residence Life, Student Involvement, or related fields during graduate or undergraduatecareer required. Experience advising a student group preferred.
The total qualifications required are based on a combination of education and work experience. Any experience used to meet the education requirement cannot also be used to meet the work experience requirement. - Knowledge of Student Development and Student Involvementtheories required; knowledge and experience with Living Learning Communities preferred.
- Computer proficiency, with good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (particularly Word and Outlook) required; knowledge of Banner, Star Rez and Maxient systems preferred.
- Strong organizational skills, with ability to respond to, andconcentrate on, multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills required,with the ability to interact with a diverse group of individuals and campus departments in establishing and maintaining effective and positive relationships.
- Outgoing personality, with a history of dependability,reliability, and initiative.
Position Details, Compensation and Benefits
Full-time professional staff (overtime-exempt) position. Annual salary of $44,000 with rent and utility free two-bedroom and one bathapartment provided. Desired start date of November 2026.
