Czarnowski is one of the four studios of the Czarnowski Collective. It combines operations, strategy, design, and fabrication to create exhibits and events that engage communities, generate brand enthusiasm, and educate consumers. Purpose

Candidate will work individually as well as part of a team to produce and repair cabinets, fabricate trade‑show exhibit pieces, and other projects. Candidate needs to be able to work with plans and fabrication drawings with a range of materials (including plywood, MDF, laminate, and plexi) on multiple types of equipment (including table saw, router, etc.). The ability to work efficiently to meet project standards and deadlines is a must.

Job
  • Effectively work with a team of builders to construct assigned projects from start to completion.
  • Accurately interpret and work from plans and fabrication drawings.
  • Ability to successfully manage construction of multiple custom projects.
  • Experience working with a range of materials, to include plywood, MDF, laminate, and plexi.
  • Ability to use multiple types of equipment, to include a table saw, router, etc.
  • Regulate material usage to ensure cost effectiveness and efficiency on project.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Work Environment
  • Frequent exposure to high levels of dust and particles
  • Higher than average noise levels due to multiple power tools being used at once
Physical Demands
  • Employee is regularly required to hear and talk.
  • Employee is required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
  • Employee understands that the position is very active, and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day.
  • Employee must frequently lift or move items over 50 pounds.
  • Employee must possess specific vision abilities, to include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Expected Hours of Work

This is a full‑time position with days and hours of work from Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm (subject to change). The position is subject to mandatory overtime during peak season, with the possibility of working upwards of 12 hours per day, including weekends.

The Person
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Minimum of two years of hands‑on building and cabinetmaking experience and/or laminate experience or any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to do the job
  • Construction background helpful
  • Exhibit industry or custom‑build experience helpful
  • Must have a basic set of hand tools, to include hammer, tape measure, level, and framing square
  • Reliable transportation
