As a Value Stream Assembly Supervisor
, you are the heartbeat of the production floor. While our technicians build the hardware, you build the environment where they can succeed. You will lead a dedicated team through the daily rhythm of production, ensuring that safety, quality, and delivery targets are met. You aren't just managing a schedule; you are mentoring people, removing roadblocks, and driving the continuous improvement that keeps RAM at the forefront of the aerospace industry.

• Leadership & Culture:
  Lead by example to foster a culture of safety and engagement. You will manage daily attendance, approve timecards, and ensure all team members adhere to RAM policies and Core Values.
• Production Management:
  Direct and coordinate the daily activities of your team to hit production goals and Takt times. You are responsible for ensuring the flow meets customer delivery schedules.
• Visual Management:
  Facilitate daily “Tier Huddles” to communicate performance metrics (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost) and set daily expectations for the team.
• Team Development:
  Accountable for training and development. You will manage cross‑training matrices to ensure team flexibility and keep employee certifications current.
• Problem Solving:
  Serve as the first line of defense for production issues. You will collaborate with Management, Quality, Engineering, and Planning to resolve bottlenecks, material shortages, or non‑conformances.
• Continuous Improvement:
  Champion the “fix it” mindset. You will facilitate problem‑solving initiatives to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and support safety first‑aid prevention.
• Administrative Proficiency:
  Submit requisitions for materials/supplies and utilize ERP systems to track work orders and inventory.
• Experience:
  
  Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or team lead role within a manufacturing or assembly environment is highly preferred.
• Education:
  
  Associate’s degree or relevant professional certification is preferred.
• Must pass a comprehensive criminal background check and drug screening.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum (due to ITAR requirements).
