Overview

We are currently looking for the right Retail Store Manager to join our team! The role offers an hourly rate of $20.40 to $26.48 per hour plus a lucrative monthly bonus that contributes to a major portion of a Retail Store Manager’s total yearly income.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Store Manager with 2+ years of management and customer service experience (retail/sales is a plus). The Store Manager will be accountable for day‑to‑day store operations, promote a positive environment, coach and develop staff, and maximize financial goals. The position reports to the District Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate a customer‑centric environment by engaging customers in a friendly manner and rapidly addressing issues.
  • Assist in training of staff to meet First Cash standards.
  • Recruit top talent through company‑prescribed channels.
  • Open and close the store, count cash drawers and merchandise, and ensure all procedures are followed.
  • Ensure asset protection through inventory control and property safety procedures.
  • Administer processes within the store, including inventory, loan management, merchandising, presentation, systems, and reporting.
  • Evaluate financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal‑setting.
  • Maintain operating standards that meet or exceed First Cash standards.
  • Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to maintain loan integrity.
  • Complete assigned tasks and training for self‑development.
  • Communicate clearly with employees to align mission and profit objectives.
  • Stay up‑to‑date on product knowledge.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
  • Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to perform extended periods of standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
  • Demonstrated supervisory ability.
  • Ability to work with firearms and achieve firearms certification.
  • Will assist customers on the exterior of the building or retrieve products from exterior storage.
  • Minimum age 18 years old.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Flexible to work multiple locations as business needs dictate.
  • Work a flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
  • Store Managers work 45+ hours per week; hours are based on business needs.
  • Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and office equipment.
  • Strong multitasking, organizational, analytical, and cash‑handling skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent work ethic and strong business sense.
