Electrician in Training

Position Summary: Utah IES Residential is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an Electrician in Training. This entry-level position is designed for candidates with little to no prior experience in the electrical field. The successful candidate will receive comprehensive on‑the‑job training, an apprentice license, and the opportunity to earn education credits toward a Journeyman’s license—provided at no cost as part of employment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Acquire foundational knowledge of all aspects of residential electrical work, including material handling, installation, and safety procedures.
  • Assist with warehouse operations and material preparation.
  • Work alongside experienced electricians on new residential construction projects at all phases of development.
  • Provide customer service and support for warranty calls and related tasks.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to learning a skilled trade.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to work in varying weather conditions and on active construction sites.
  • No prior electrical experience required; training will be provided.
Compensation and Benefits
