Utah IES Residential is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an Electrician in Training. This entry-level position is designed for candidates with little to no prior experience in the electrical field. The successful candidate will receive comprehensive on-the-job training, an apprentice license, and the opportunity to earn education credits toward a Journeyman’s license—provided at no cost as part of employment.
Key Responsibilities- Acquire foundational knowledge of all aspects of residential electrical work, including material handling, installation, and safety procedures.
- Assist with warehouse operations and material preparation.
- Work alongside experienced electricians on new residential construction projects at all phases of development.
- Provide customer service and support for warranty calls and related tasks.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to learning a skilled trade.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to work in varying weather conditions and on active construction sites.
- No prior electrical experience required; training will be provided.
- Competitive hourly wage with opportunities for advancement.
- Company-provided apprentice license and paid education toward a Journeyman’s license.
- Full on-the-job training under licensed electricians.
