Commercial Journeyman Electrician

Overview

Hunt Electric, Inc. is searching for a full-time Journeyman Electrician to join our team within our electrical division. We have minimal work in the St George area. You will be expected to travel to various work site locations.

• In the position of Journeyman Electrician, you would be responsible for planning, design, organization, and execution of electrical construction projects with the ability to adapt to changing codes, regulations, and safety requirements.
• Relevant experience in commercial and residential electrical.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Read and understand blueprints well.
• Bend conduit up to 1 1/2".
• Install electrical components and equipment.
• Be able to work independently.
• Effectively and efficiently diagnose and repair electrical issues.
• Demonstrate an aptitude for learning, a goal-oriented mindset for continual growth, with a “Can-Do” positive attitude.
• Ability to mentor apprentice electricians on the jobsite.
• Actively contribute to a positive team environment.
• Demonstrates dependability with regular attendance and compliance to scheduled work hours.
• Other duties or locations as assigned by Manager.

• Must have an active state Journeyman license.
• Must be willing to work out of town 50% - 100% of the time.
• Ability to pass a background check, drug and functional capacity test.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Have all tools for the trade.

This is a full-time position with a typical working schedule of Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 4:30pm and Friday 7:00am - 2:00pm.
