JOB TITLE:Truss Driver

JOB LOCATION:St. George, UT

FUNCTION: Participate in the various activities associated with delivering trusses for residential and commercial projects.

KEY ACTIVITIES:

• Visualize, define, plan, communicate, and implement the company vision and core values.
• Deliver materials to commercial and residential customers including loading and unloading of materials, pulling material/building loads, truck maintenance and record keeping.
• Inspect truck before and after trips and submit report indicating truck condition.
• Maintain truck log according to state and federal regulations.
• Safely navigating heavy construction and residential job sites.
• Follow written and verbal directions and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean working environment.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook, etc.
• Perform other duties as required.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to function effectively as part of a high-performance team.
• Ability to achieve performance objectives in a time-sensitive and quality-centered environment.
• Demonstrate initiative and reliability with minimal supervision.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in transportation of oversize and pilot escort.
• Clean MVR and current medical card.
• Class A CDL.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Physical Work Requirements - Heavy: exerting up to 75 lbs of force regularly.
• Repetitive impact motion associated with construction activities.
• Frequent bending, standing, lifting, and ongoing physical activity.
