Junior Accountant at Cooke Seafood

At Cooke Seafood, you'll report directly to the Divisional Controller. We are seeking a qualified individual with a minimum of two years of experience and a post-secondary education in Business. You will assist in accounts payable transactions, bank reconciliations, and preparation of working paper files, helping our team to maintain efficient operations in our growing business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review accounts payable transactions for accuracy

• Complete bank reconciliations promptly

• Assist in preparing working paper files

• Support the accounting team with various financial tasks

• Ensure deadlines are met and accuracy is maintained

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in Business (minimum 2 years)

• At least 2 years of related work experience

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

• Detail-oriented mindset and self-starter attitude

• Ability to work well under deadlines
