In this role, as a Property Accountant, you will be responsible for the full cycle of accounting for various properties. You will prepare bank files for tenant payments, maintain accurate tenant records, and support operational decision-making with timely financial reports. A strong focus on internal controls and audit preparation is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare monthly files for tenant rent collections
• Maintain accurate records of rental revenue
• Approve bank and credit card reconciliations
• Oversee processing accounts payable
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or related field
• Minimum five years of progressive accounting experience
• CPA designation is a strong asset
• Experience with multi-entity accounting preferred
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
