Junior Estimator

Position: Junior Estimator at Edificio Construction
Join Edificio Construction as a Junior Estimator and leverage your skills in estimating material costs and preparing client submissions. This full-time position is based on-site in Saint John, New Brunswick.

This role requires a high school diploma and 2-3 years of estimating experience. You will prepare estimates for labor and materials, advise on tendering procedures, and analyze bids. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and database management is essential, along with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare labor and material cost estimates

• Create pre-qualification submissions for clients

• Submit detailed estimate reports and bids

• Advise clients on tendering procedures

• Monitor and adjust contract expenditures

Requirements:

• High school graduation certificate required

• 2 to 3 years of estimating experience

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Excel

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
