The City of Saint John is seeking an Assistant Building Inspector to ensure that the construction and occupancy of buildings, or other property-related activities, meet minimum standards as established by building codes and by-laws.
The incumbent will determine if the permitting-approved design work is being completed in accordance with standards and will work with others to achieve compliance before any corrective actions are required.
