Position: Part-Time Physician for Medical Cannabis

Join Apollo Applied Research as a part-time Physician focused on medical cannabis in Alberta or New Brunswick. Provide consultations and educate patients on effective treatments for chronic conditions.

Apollo Applied Research is expanding its team of physicians licensed in Alberta and/or New Brunswick to join our virtual medical clinic. Emphasizing patient care, this role involves educating patients on cannabis treatment, monitoring dosages, and providing follow-up consultations. Flexibility in work hours and full administrative support are provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct consultations for patients needing medical cannabis prescriptions

• Educate patients about cannabis as a therapeutic option

• Monitor patient response to prescribed dosages and cannabinoids

• Provide follow-up support and advice when necessary

• Complete other assigned duties to enhance patient care

Requirements:

• Medical degree with registration in good standing

• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written

• Organized with strong time management abilities

• Knowledge in pain management or mental health preferred

• Experience with veterans and medical cannabis is an asset
