German Language Course Facilitator

Guide learners in acquiring German language skills as a Course Facilitator. Deliver engaging lessons to help students achieve CEFR A1.1 proficiency in a collaborative online setting.

This position supports academic success within the Open Learning division, catering to 35-45 students annually.

Your role includes maintaining student contact, marking and providing feedback on assignments, and ensuring effective use of educational technologies. Commitment to a positive learning environment is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish administrative processes for course setup

• Maintain regular contact with students as required

• Respond to student inquiries within established timelines

• Evaluate assignments and offer constructive feedback

• Oversee evaluation processes for exams and results

Requirements:

• PhD in German Language preferred; MA considered

• Native or fluent proficiency in German

• Experienced in teaching German as a second language

• Record of scholarly work including publications

• Knowledge of current online education tools and techniques
