Position: Youth Leader for Summer Camps
Make a difference this summer as a Youth Leader at the YMCA of Southwestern New Brunswick. Lead engaging activities and foster inclusive environments for youth in your community.

As a Youth Leader, your role focuses on creating welcoming experiences for children and teens at the YMCA. You will plan and execute fun sports, recreational, and educational programs while promoting physical well-being, social interaction, and mental health. Your leadership will guide participants toward developing confidence and community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize and lead diverse sports and recreational activities

• Plan evening programs for game night and youth zone

• Maintain a safe and supportive environment for all participants

• Encourage youth involvement and promote teamwork

• Handle administrative duties like sign-in processes

Requirements:

• Experience with youth in childcare or recreational settings

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Ability to engage with diverse youth needs

• Current First Aid and CPR certification

• Clean Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search
