Youth Engagement Leader at YMCA

Become a Youth Engagement Leader at the YMCA of Southwestern New Brunswick this summer. Lead creative programs and promote a sense of belonging among youth.

In this role, you'll shape exciting recreational and educational experiences for young people, helping them develop vital skills and confidence. Partner with staff and volunteers to ensure programs are inclusive and promote well-being and growth in a safe environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize various sports and educational activities

• Plan engaging evening programs for youth participation

• Create a supportive atmosphere for all families involved

• Encourage teamwork and involvement among participants

• Supervise activities and maintain essential equipment

Requirements:

• Background in youth care or recreational programming

• Strong team collaboration and communication abilities

• Capable of connecting with diverse youth backgrounds

• Current First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain

• Clean Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search
