We are currently seeking a Health & Safety Leader
, based in Saint John, NB
, to support and strengthen our Health & Safety Program across all branches and work sites nationwide.
As a Health & Safety Leader, you will:
Champion Petro Service’s corporate Health & Safety vision, mission, and strategy across all locations.Provide timely guidance, training, and technical support on Occupational Health & Safety matters.Collaborate with HSE team members and business units to develop, update, and implement policies, procedures, and training programs.Act as a technical resource in the development and evaluation of new and existing Health & Safety programs.Monitor industry trends, legislation, and best practices to support continuous improvement.Develop, maintain, and monitor reporting systems to measure performance against HSE objectives.Manage and facilitate Health & Safety audits as required.Assess effectiveness of existing safety processes and recommend updates.Conduct and/or assist with incident investigations and corrective actions.Support communication and promotion activities such as newsletters and bulletins.Work with operations teams to ensure inspections of offices, warehouses, and projects.Facilitate and maintain COR certifications across Canada.Perform other safety-related duties.
Required Competencies:
Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety, CRSP, NCSO, or similar (asset)Post‑secondary education.Experience in petroleum and/or construction is an asset.Strong understanding of Canadian H&S regulations.Strong leadership and communication skills.Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.Why Join Us?
