The Role
The Aircraft Maintenance Engineer is responsible for supporting the safe and efficient operation of aircraft by assisting with inspections, maintenance, repairs, and modifications. This role ensures all assigned aircraft are maintained in compliance with company standards, customer requirements, and Transport Canada regulations.
Responsibilities:
Assist in carrying out maintenance, repairs and modifications on aircraftComplete work sheets for work accomplishedReport on unserviceable maintenance equipmentEnsure that assigned aircraft are maintained in accordance with Customer StandardsCarry out the inspection, maintenance and repair of company aircraft and related aircraft systemsReport to the Shift Supervisor on issues affecting the serviceability of aircraftEnsure aircraft are maintained in accordance with the company Maintenance Control Manual and Transport Canada RegulationsComply with all company safety practices and proceduresComplete all required documentation and task cards for the work accomplished related to the aircraft maintenance performedOther duties as assignedQualifications:
Must have completed a Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance Course and hold a valid Transport Canada M1 and/or M2 AME licenseExperience with King Airs and Falcons preferred, experience with Gulfstreams an assetHave a valid Canadian passport as some travel is requiredMust possess strong decision making, organizational and communication skillsThe ability to work both independently and in a team environmentKnowledge of airframe and power plant systemsTrouble shooting skillsKnowledge of Transport Canada RegulationsJoin our team and enjoy the benefits of full-time year-round employment with competitive rates and a comprehensive benefits package tailored to support your well-being and career growth.
