Position: Director – Global Revenue Accounting.

We areseeking a Director of Global Revenue Accounting to lead the end-to-end revenue lifecycle across all regions. This role oversees revenue recognition under ASC 606, monthly close, billing operations, deal review, and collections.
The position manages a global team and partners closely with FP&A, Sales Operations, Legal, and Customer Success to ensure accurate reporting, strong internal controls, and scalable operations. The ideal candidate brings deep technical accounting expertise along with a strong process and systems mindset to support growth, improve cash flow, and drive operational excellence
Key Responsibilities
Lead the monthly global revenue close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.Review customer contracts and deal structures to ensure compliance with ASC 606 and internal policies.Oversee billing, invoicing, and collections to improve cash flow and reduce DSO.Maintain strong internal controls across quote-to-cash processes.Understand end-to-end revenue transaction flows across systems to ensure accurate financial outcomes.Partner cross-functionally with Sales Ops, Customer Success, Legal, and FP&A to support compliant and scalable revenue processes.Drive automation and process improvements across billing and collections workflows.Build, lead, and develop a high-performing global revenue accounting team.Evaluate and resolve technical revenue recognition matters related to new deal models, pricing structures, bundling, and partnerships.Support internal and external audits, prepare technical accounting memos, and advise on evolving revenue guidance.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA preferred.10+ years of progressive experience in revenue accounting or revenue operations, ideally within subscription-based, digital, data, or SaaS-driven environments.Strong expertise in ASC 606, contract analysis, and revenue recognition.Experience leading global or multi-entity revenue close processes.Proven ability to communicate complex accounting topics to non-finance stakeholders and partner cross-functionally.Benefits at Innovatia
