Overview

Client Relations Coordinator | Avanciers Inc. Avanciers is currently looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Medical Assistant to join our client's team in Ontario. This role is perfect for someone passionate about patient care, organization, and supporting clinical and administrative functions within a busy medical clinic. You will be trained across multiple areas, with opportunities to develop skills in specialized programs such as Travel Medicine, Allergy Testing, Foot Care, and Well-Baby care.

Responsibilities
  • Register patients, schedule appointments, and process payments at reception
  • Prepare patients for visits by hosting them in exam rooms and performing triage
  • Apply scripts, scenarios, and clinical skills as needed during patient interactions
  • Accurately use and update our Electronic Medical Record system (EMR Advantage)
  • Maintain proper inventory levels and restock exam rooms daily
  • Clean and sanitize exam rooms, foyers, and bathrooms to ensure a safe environment
  • Perform opening and closing procedures of the clinic
  • Manage records and documentation, along with other assigned administrative tasks
  • Train in specialty programs after successful completion of probationary period
  • Support additional duties as required
Qualifications
  • Must reside in Ontario; this is an onsite role (not remote)
  • Eligible to work in Canada (Permanent Resident, Citizen, or valid Work Permit of at least 12 months)
  • New graduates or students in their final semester are welcome to apply
  • 1–2 years of post-secondary education in a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Undergraduate/bachelor’s degree in Health Science, Kinesiology, General Science, or Arts is an asset
  • 6–12 months of customer service experience (e.g., retail, hospitality)
  • Excellent English communication skills (written, spoken, reading); proficiency in additional languages is an asset
  • Physically active role—must be comfortable being on your feet throughout the day
  • Committed, reliable, and flexible to work days, evenings, and weekends
  • Willing to work across multiple clinic/office locations within the region
  • Passionate about ongoing learning, training, and professional development
