Walmart Relief Pharmacist Position

Join Walmart as a Relief Pharmacist and provide critical pharmacy services in Saint John, NB. This role focuses on accurate prescription filling and enhancing patient interactions in a healthcare setting.

In this position, you will assist the Pharmacy Manager in all operations while fostering strong working relationships across the healthcare spectrum. Responsibilities include handling prescriptions, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and providing counseling on pharmaceutical products.

Your role is pivotal in supporting patient health and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process prescriptions and manage pharmacy workflows

• Ensure safety in storage of pharmaceutical products

• Collaborate with healthcare teams and stakeholders

• Counsel patients on medication and health services

• Adhere to OBWs/SOPs and provincial regulations

Requirements:

• Must hold a current Pharmacist License (optional  in Alberta)

• Minimum age of 16

• Proficient in pharmacy equipment and systems

• Must be willing to travel as required

• Commitment to confidentiality and patient care
