Mental Health Nurse Providing Specialized Patient Care and Support

Shape the future of mental health care by serving as a dedicated Mental Health Nurse. Contribute to patient rehabilitation, assessment, and education within a collaborative healthcare team.

In this role, you will provide core mental health services as part of a Multi-Disciplinary Rehabilitation Team. Your focus will be on direct nursing care, developing and implementing client-centered rehabilitation programs, and enhancing patient experiences in rehabilitation or community settings. You will contribute to safety and quality enhancements in all aspects of the position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care and mental health assessments

• Develop and implement client-centered rehabilitation programs

• Administer psychotropic medications and monitor side effects

• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams effectively

• Contribute to safety and quality improvements

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year psychiatric nursing experience required

• Registration as RN or RPN with relevant authority

• Current CPR certification necessary

• Knowledge of Psychosocial Rehabilitation model

• Strong communication and crisis intervention skills
