Systems Data Analyst

Join our high-performing operational team as a Systems Data Analyst, based in Saint John, NB. This role combines system thinking with advanced data analytics to unlock the full potential of technology and AI.

• Post-Secondary undergraduate degree in related discipline
• Demonstrated experience in data analytics in an operational environment requiring the capability to analyze, model and interpret data to develop recommendations
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to present to both senior leaders and front-line employees
• Strong sense of curiosity and problem-solving skills
• SQL, Python, or R for data analysis
• Understanding of system architecture and data flows
• Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau)
• Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems such as Mercury Gate, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.

• Analyze operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities that drive informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Design and maintain interactive dashboards using BI tools to provide real-time insights into system and business performance.
• Leverage CoPilot AI and RPA to automate workflows, reduce errors, and enhance efficiency.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Data Architects and Engineers to optimise data architecture for scalability and business needs.
• Support system upgrades and implementations through rigorous data validation and impact analysis.
• Deliver clear, concise reports and presentations to stakeholders at all levels.
• Translate business requirements into system specifications and analytical models that enable actionable insights.
• Champion user adoption by training end-users on business systems and upcoming capabilities.
