Tool Crib Attendant

Our client, a leading organization in industrial operations, is seeking a dedicated and proactive Tool Trailer Coordinator to join their team. As a Tool Trailer Coordinator, you will be an essential part of the operations team supporting on-site activities at the Oil Refinery.

Job Title: Tool Trailer Coordinator

Location: Saint John, NB

Pay Range: $20.00 Per Hour

Employment type:

Temporary potential to extend and become permanent

Shift: 12-hour shifts, typically 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am (may be adjusted)

What's the Job?

• Manage daily operations of the on-site tool trailer, including issuing and inspecting tools
• Maintain safety standards and ensure the cleanliness and organization of the trailer
• Engage with customers, assist with tool supply needs, and conduct inspections
• Record and track tools using the Total Control system, ensuring accurate inventory management
• Assist with trailer mobilization at customer sites and support operational needs

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to complete a backcheck
• Knowledge of tools and their applications, with relevant experience preferred
• Relevant experience with tools (power tools, hand tools, accessories for various equipment etc)
• Must be computer literate to use their computer system
• Valid driver's license; if not available, a "Do Not Drive" form must be signed
• Class 2 Forklift License (definitely an asset)
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
